We invite you to participate in the innovative Zero Waste Ambassadors course addressed to people who want to work in the field of waste minimization, interested in conducting educational campaigns in the area of saving the Earth’s resources and circular economy.
The course is organized by the Polish Zero Waste Association, Let’s Do It Foundation from Estonia and Zero Waste Kiel from Germany and financed by a grant from The Council of the Baltic Sea States
The scope of the course is based on the innovative materials included in the Zero Waste Ambassador Curriculum:
- The basics of zero waste and what it means practically at the level of municipalities, cities, communities;
- How to apply zero waste principles in different local contexts;
- How to engage and communicate with different stakeholders;
- How to grow and develop as a Zero Waste Ambassador
The course is conducted in English.
Course dates:
- Introductory session – 26 January 2024 from 16:00 – 17:30
- 4 weeks of online learning – 4 sessions on February 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- 3-day course in Warsaw – 28-29 February and 1 March 2024 combined with a visit to two waste management facilities
- Summary webinar: March 21, 2024, time – 16:00 – 17:00
The course is free of charge for participants, except for the cost of travel to Warsaw and accommodation, which participants cover on their own. During the classes, we provide snacks and drinks and lunch. Upon completion of the course, participants receive a certificate of completion.
The number of places is limited to 25. Applicants are participants from the Baltic countries – Sweden, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland.
